When a young man lusts after a girl it takes away from the beauty of a “real” friendship from happening. A guy who has passion and desire in his heart is not looking on the inside of a women’s heart and mind, but only looking at the beauty on the outside. There is nothing wrong with appreciating beauty but there is a lot wrong when a man allows his passions and desires to lead his heart.

“The Lord does not look at the things a man looks at. a man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart”. (1 Samuel 16:7)

Don’t forget about how Samson lusted with passion after Delilah and her beauty deceived him. She betrayed Samson over and over. He only looked at how beautiful she was on the outside and did not see how rotten and ugly she was on the inside. You can read the story by clicking here. If only Samson would have not let his emotions of lust take over, he would have lived many more years and found a good woman to love him.

Just like Samson, many Christian men are allowing their desires to lead their sensibility and are giving into the temptations of this world. They are looking only at what they are attracted to on the outside and not looking at the character of a lady. Real beauty comes from the heart and soul of a person. A person’s relationship with God will tell you a lot about who a person is.

If you have sons, I hope that you have been blessed with the wisdom to talk to your sons about allowing their emotions to get carried away with a young lady, who is truly not compatible to them. Of course, not all Christian ladies will deceive because they do have real beauty and character on the inside. This is why it is so important to not let your emotions get the best of you. Be friends, let God be in control of the relationship!

A good hearted, God-fearing wife will be a wonderful asset to her husband and she will love him all the days of her (their life). A husband also needs to treat his wife with the same sacrificing love that Christ loved the church with.

Do not lust after her beauty or let her captivate you with her eyes, for the prostitute reduces you to a loaf of bread and the adulteress preys upon your very life. (Proverbs 6:25)

This excellent wisdom in Proverbs is letting Christian men know, “Watch out!” Be on your guard. Don’t let a woman fool you into their deception because of their beauty on the outside. Be smarter and wiser than Samson.

Why Fornication is Defrauding One Another

Fornication is considered fraud because God says so!! When a person has sex with another, who they are not married to or intend on marrying it is fraud—it’s a scam and a ruse and sincere Christian men and women should not be partaking in it.

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel (body) in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the gentiles which know not God: That no man should go beyond (arouse lust and sexual desire) and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. (1 Thessalonians 4:3-6)

Sincere Christian young men should not be chasing after the things of this world because they will get caught up in its lustfulness and desires that take him away from the love of God, truth and light.

Fornicator Definition:

1. An unmarried person, make or female, who has criminal conversation with the other sex; also a married man who has sexual commerce with an unmarried women.

Fornication is a sin in the eyes of God just as adultery is for married couples. This is why dating is not scriptural. Dating is just a nice word for fraud. Unmarried single people go out on a date and most of the time they end up defrauding one another. But in God’s eyes, everyone is sinning who is fornicating.

Is This a Way to Raise Godly Sons?

Why are people, Christians too, so nonchalant about having sex without commitment and before marriage? It is the way they are raised to believe. They actually have been taught that having sex before marriage prepares them for manhood but it actually degrades their manhood! They are nonchalant because their relationship with Jesus Christ is nonchalant.

The relationship most people have with God is felt through the eyes of someone else. Some churchgoers have a relationship with God thru the pastor and sons and daughters through the eyes of their parents, peers and pastors. But this is the problem. Christ Ones must have their own growing, learning, spiritual relationship with Christ. If they did they would be more apt to follow God’s instruction for their Christian lives.

Sex without commitment and love means nothing. Its just sex. The bible clearly lets us know that fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. Fornication hurts people physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity! (1 Timothy 5:1-2)
